On platform 2A at Amsterdam Central Station can currently the exhibition ZOOMSCAPE be visited, a by EYE Film Institute Netherlands organized continuous film screening, whereby all the shown films take place in the world of trains. In the room that formerly served as the ticket office for international train journeys, are on four different screens films being shown in the categories experimental, feature film, documentary and silent film. The exhibition is free of admission and runs until October 31 (daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and has various highlights; from two classic documentaries about graffiti to a silent documentary from 1925 about the Dutch Railways, from Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited to Julika Rudelius seemingly unnoticed recorded teenagers in the staged documentary registration Train…
After ZOOMSCAPE the space remains to be used for cultural purposes.
