Silence is a lie – PRT II

Last weekend I took the final opportunity to visit the exhibit Silence is a lie in the Berlin SEZ. Here over a hundred street artists offered the greatest possible contrast with the surroundings of the former Eastern Bloc. In this by Erich Honecker in 1981 festively opened Sport und Erhollungszentrum, now relic of Eastern bloc architecture, remnant of centrally coordinated system, was presented for three months a parade of popaganda, a parade of uncensored expression… For those who missed it some pics;
