Medium: tactile paving and gold spray. Location: the Zuidas, the new financial district in Amsterdam. Target group: the one percent, the bonus bankers, the new rich etc.

Originally the here used gold spray is meant to decorate bonbons. So it does concern an ephemeral intervention. For that matter this temporary graffiti corresponds actually quite well to the short memory of the financial sector. And the latter certain kinship with decadent consumption makes the used medium even more suited.

Coinciding with the international sculpture route ARTZUID, taking place at the same location, this work may be regarded as an alternative side project, as the ‘off program’…
