An “open call” art magazine may perhaps be ushered in best with an “open source” art exhibition. That is, the SHOW WHAT YOU WANT SHOW to celebrate the inaugural issue of Platform Platvorm. A magazine with a crystal clear concept that makes you wonder why it wasn’t there already. Each artist could design its own spread without letting form or content be edited. And all creatives of this firstling could bring in work for the SHOW WHAT YOU WANT SHOW. No intervention of star curator, or over ambitious art director.
The exhibit runs until Sunday, June 28th at BART INVITES – Bloemgracht 2, Amsterdam.
Opening hours: Wednesday – Sunday 11:00 to 17:00
